These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the FinArk mobile application and related services ("the Service"). By creating an account or using FinArk you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
FinArk is a personal finance tracking tool that lets you record and organise transactions, accounts, budgets, fixed expenses, loans, and assets, and optionally detect transactions from bank alert notifications on your device.
FinArk is available on a free tier, supported by advertising, and on an optional paid Premium subscription described in section 6. The free tier includes unlimited accounts, loans, assets and transactions; it limits you to 10 categories of your own (the built-in categories are free and unlimited) and to 3 months of charts and insights. Your own data is never deleted or hidden from you because of the tier you are on — only the analysis window is capped.

- You must sign in with a valid Google account and be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Google account.
- You may delete your account at any time — see Delete my account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to access other users' data, probing or disrupting our servers, reverse engineering the app beyond what applicable law permits, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Your data
You retain ownership of the financial data you enter. We process it only to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter; automatically detected transactions may be incomplete or incorrectly parsed and should be reviewed.
6. Premium subscriptions
FinArk Premium unlocks budgets and overspend alerts, the loan prepayment simulator, full insights history, net worth over time, Excel and PDF exports, app lock, unlimited categories, and removes ads.
- Plans and prices. Premium is sold as an auto-renewing subscription in three terms: 1 month — ₹49, 6 months — ₹249, and 12 months — ₹449. The price shown on the Google Play purchase sheet at the time of purchase is the price that applies, including any applicable taxes.
- Billing. All purchases are made and processed through Google Play, subject to Google's own terms. We do not process or store your payment details. A purchase grants access only after Google confirms it to us.
- Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term through your Google Play account unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the term ends.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time in the Google Play Store (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; your Premium access continues until the end of the term you already paid for, after which the account reverts to the free tier. No data is deleted when Premium ends.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Google Play under Google's refund policy, not by us. We cannot issue refunds for purchases made through Google Play, though we will help you with a request where we can.
- Price changes. We may change Premium pricing. Changes never affect a term you have already paid for, and Google will notify you of a price change affecting a renewal as required by the Play Store.
- Deleting your account. Deleting your FinArk account does not automatically cancel your Google Play subscription — cancel it in the Play Store to stop further billing.
7. Advertising
The Service displays banner advertisements served by Google AdMob to users on the free tier; ads are not shown while a Premium subscription is active. Third-party advertisers are solely responsible for the content of their ads.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of data.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any financial decisions made in reliance on the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Intellectual property
The FinArk name, app, and design are our property. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on your own devices; they do not transfer any ownership rights.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
